We picked a very crowded day to visit downtown Seattle - it seems that lots of other people had the same idea (it was a holiday weekend)
But first thing on the agenda - lunch! We dined at a delightful restaurant call Collections Cafe. And man the name doesn't tell the story - they had collections of everything you can imagine. See the accordions handing from the ceiling. And all of the tables had glass tops with collections under. Pocket knives, can openers, dolls, old radios, and on and on and on. Very cool!
And then the visit up the 50 stories in a very fast elevator!
Built in the early 60's for the Worlds Fair
We took the monorail to downtown Seattle to visit the famous Pike Market.
Too crowded!
